Can I train to do a 9a+ redpoint or an 8c on sight without risking tendonitis or anorexia? How many pull-ups on a flared mono-finger can I do and what should I think if on the fourth I feel a snap and a lot of pain? Will my hands be in a wheelchair at 60? Does tennis elbow also affect plumbers? Is cortisone or handcuffs the biggest danger? Can my child use a pan Gullich between feedings?
These and many other questions will be answered in this unmissable text! Everything you need to understand climbing-related pathologies and treat them or get treated in the best possible way. Those who climb often have to deal with tendonitis, joint injuries and muscle damage, which do not always find an exhaustive answer from doctors and specialists, who are more experienced in knee and ankle pathologies - related to more popular sports such as football or basketball - than in those of the fingers and hands.
