A more than fitting name for this guide given that it is a group that remained in the shadows until a few years ago, but which is now in full rediscovery phase especially with itineraries on the excellent granite of the Rava Subgroup, Cima d'Asta and the Vanoi Valley. Certainly no less are the imposing porphyry walls of the long rocky barrier that from Cima Valmaggiore reaches Colbricòn passing through Cima Ceremana and ending at the beautiful and well-known wall of Tognazza where new interesting itineraries are still being born. There is still much to do, to discover and rediscover, all you need is the desire.
Lagorai is not just climbing; it is immersion in a different space-time, an intimate connection between one's essential nature and the special nature of these places.

Alessio Conz began climbing and ski mountaineering in the 80s, especially frequenting the Sarca Valley and the Dolomites. Since 2010 he has worked as an Alpine Guide. He has been a regular visitor to Lagorai for about ten years, where he has opened several routes and cliffs. Author of hiking and mountaineering guides, he has published Sci Alpinismo in Lagorai – Cima d’Asta (2010), Trento e Valsugana in Mountain Bike (Italian and German, 2018), Escursioni in Valsugana e Lagorai (Dutch, 2018) for Versante Sud. He also published Trento falesie - arrampicata sportiva a Trento (Trento cliffs - sport climbing in Trento) for Effe Erre in 2016.
