In this issue of UP the real protagonists are the wild coasts of Italy, between Sardinia and Sicily, of Portugal, between sea and wind, but above all of Great Britain. Climbers with great experience like Carlos Simes and Steve McClure take us to truly fantastic places, almost suspended between water and sky. Mike Hutton, in a real dedicated focus, shows us the wonders of British trad climbing.

Away from the wild coasts we then move towards Albania and the Balkans, guided by Massimo Cappuccio for recently discovered crags. And then again the adventures of Federica Mingolla on the Mingus in Verdon, and the useful suggestions of Omar Oprandi for some nice spring ski-mountaineering concatenations in the Alps.

This thirtieth issue of UP travels to many different places, to discover the elements of nature: water, earth and air!
