A guidebook for your adventures in discovering Sicily, encompassing the areas around Agrigento, Palermo, Trapani as well as the lush parks: Madonie, Nebrodi, Etna.
The routes described possess exceptional features: trails winding through wild nature and small and welcoming hamlets – paved roads are averted, reduced to a minimum. A veritable trove for those wishing visiting Sicily riding an XC, an All Mountain or an Enduro bike. The suggestions can be composed in longer or multi-day trips, allowing to actually travel throughout the island, from the inland to the seaside, from coast to coast!
This guidebook will lead you to the discover of a genuine territory, far from mass-tourism, allowing to enjoy an extraordinary heritage, a perfect mix of sunshine, nature, art, culture, history and cuisine, available all year round.
It’s been crafted after a thorough study – thanks to historical archives – of ancient trails and “royal routes”, and then cycling and exploring them, discovering variants, talking with the locals, riding through woods and hills.
Last but not least, a selection of paved roads itinerariesm for those who prefer to travel that way.
