The second edition of this book has been carefully revised and updated, with new itineraries, new photos and maps. The book proposes paths and itineraries chosen in the Sesia and Toce valleys, to admire grandiose panoramas, landscapes painted in the sky and reflected in the clear crystalline waters of numerous bodies of water that embellish valleys and plateaus.

A guide who will accompany you from the woods to the pastures, from the mountain pastures to the moraines, from the mountain pastures to the refuges and to the ancient Walser settlements, where stone and wood tell the living story of this ancient people. Valsesia, with its numerous lateral valleys and the alpine “region” of Val d’Ossola give rise to a rather vast territory with alpine peaks such as Monte Rosa and Monte Leone and very varied landscapes, in well-known, little-known or wild and in the splendid areas of the Alta Valsesia, Valle Antrona, Devero – Veglia, Val Grande and Passo del Sempione natural parks.

A dense maze of paths intersects in the Valsesiane Val Grande del Sesia, Val Vogna, Val Sermenza, Val d’Egua, Val Sorba, Val Mastallone and in the Ossolane Valle Anzasca, Valle Antrona, Valle Bognanco, Val Divedro, Val Cairasca, Val Devero , Valle Antigorio – Formazza, Val Vigezzo and Val Grande and in their numerous laterals, overcoming geographical barriers and making these places a unique and extraordinary natural environment, where in addition to the peaks there are other peaks and others.
